Importance of PUC certificate

PUC is pollution under control certificate which is compulsory for all vehicles by the 1988 act.
Under section 190(2) you don't have PUC certificate you will get fine for the first time is Rs 1000 and second time as rupees 2000.
If you getting PUC then you are also saving the environment from emission of your vehicle.
If you have PUC certificate then you can renew your insurance policy otherwise you won't renew.
PUC which states that you are vehicle is safe to drive on roads.
The cost of PUC is Rs 60 to Rs 200 according to vehicle model.

What is Mentioned in the PUC Certificate?

The PUC Certificate contains information like:
Vehicle Registration Number (VRN),
Date of issue of certificate
Emission readings of your vehicle
Validity of the certificate
License Plate Number

Remember the PUC is is an important document for your vehicle as per RTO guidelines so carry PUC while driving vehicle. It has also an importance like other documents of vehicle does.
